Hello friend,

Tomorrow marks the start of our 7-day Nervous System Reset, and I’m SO excited to kick things off with you.

This isn’t a challenge.

It’s not about willpower.

It’s an invitation and an experimentation in letting your body feel safe again — slowly, gently, one breath at a time, no matter what chaos you’re dealing with right now.

Today, we start at the beginning — day 0, if you like. And I want to invite you to consider something that massively impacts the way you move through your day; something that can be make-or-break when it comes to your nervous system health throughout your day; and something that’s really over-played, over-stuffed, and overwhelming for most of us (myself included):

your morning routine.

I’ve been honing the ‘perfect’ morning routine, alongside clients and members, for over a decade. I’ve tried the viral stuff, the stupid-early wake-ups, the ‘aligning with my goals’ thing at 6am (eye-roll)…

And this isn’t about any of that. This is more about finding a morning routine that isn’t prescriptive or overwhelming, doesn’t take ages, but that offers some light structure and nervous system-friendly steps that sets every day up better.

I’ve been practicing this new style of day-starting goodness for months, sharing it with those I work with — and it works. And I’ve finally created the blueprint so we can do it together.

It’s called EASE. It’s a simple framework designed to help you start your day in a way that soothes your system instead of shocking it into productivity.

Because you don’t need to get better at mornings. You need mornings that help you feel better.

Tomorrow’s nervous system begins with how you wake up.

So start to notice what your current mornings feel like. Think about the way you began today, and ask yourself:

  • Did I feel rushed?

  • Do I pick up my phone before I’ve even breathed?

  • Is my body invited into the day… or dragged?

Then — and here’s your mini-reset — pick just one thing to do before anything else tomorrow:

  • Take 3 long exhales before getting out of bed.

  • Place a hand on your heart and tell yourself something you need to hear.

  • Put on a song that makes you feel good and dancey (yes, that’s a real word).

  • Sip your tea slowly. Watch the sky. Do it like it matters.

That’s it. That’s your beginning. Then notice what changes for you (because changes will happen).
