But we’ve not been taught the same for our bodies.
Sure, you know you should drink water, you should probably eat regularly, take a shower now and then. But why we’re not taught basic nervous system science in school is beyond me; it has implications on every single biological function of your entire body.
We’re fucking stressed out because we’re clueless & overwhelmed.
Think of it this way: every time you multi-task, every notification on your phone, every time you start your day checking your emails, every scroll of your go-to social app…
is putting your body into a stressed state.
And then we get stuck there. Over time, our digestion stops working normally, we struggle to sleep, we get ratty with our lovely partners, or blow-up over the smallest things.
And this is all pre-burnout. Need I remind you that burnout recovery can take months, if not years.
So if it’s your mission to build a successful business, be a wonderful parter or mother, make a difference in your workplace, impact change on the world, poop / sleep / react normally, you need to learn how to work your machinery.
