The idea of having a perfect morning routine can feel a bit... much. Get up at 5am, meditate for 30-minutes, do an hour-long yoga class, journal until your hand goes numb…
And while I do think a morning routine is one of the best things to shift your mindset and get you feeling positive and grounded, making it so bloody structured can feel overwhelming; you’ll be less excited by it, less inclined to do it, and it’ll probably cause more damage than good. But I’ve found one of the most simple, easy-going ways to start my days that’s adaptable, energising, and powerful, without the overwhelm.
